Stuart C. Paul (Writer-Director)
Stuart C. Paul received his BFA in Screenwriting from the USC School of Cinema-Television. He recently sold his feature spec script, Terminal Point, to Ride Along producer Will Packer and Universal. His television pilot, Mankind, a dramatic retelling of the extinction of the Neanderthals, which is told without the use of dialogue, sold to NBC. He also penned the film adaptation of Whitley Strieber’s graphic novel The Nye Incidents for RKO Pictures. On the publishing side, his six-issue comic series Ides of Blood was published by DC Comics and nominated for multiple Comic Buyers Guide Fan Awards. He is repped at Circle of Confusion and CAA. In 2011, he founded Hamster Valhalla to make real the things in his brain. The Lord of Catan is his first film.
Lisa Barrett McGuire (Producer)
Lisa Barrett McGuire co-founded Peas and Carrots, an emerging film and television production company, in January 2011. Her slate includes the feature “Anything But Ordinary”, a drama on which the book released by Disney/Hyperion is based, and Emma Roberts and AnnaSophia Robb are attached to star. On the television side, Lisa is producing a scripted dramedy alongside Elizabeth Banks as well as another dramedy co-written by World Boxing Champion Sugar Ray Leonard, which she is producing with Trigger Street Productions. Previously, Lisa was Vice President of Development at Southpaw Entertainment. During her six year tenure working under producer Richard Lewis she was an executive on multiple feature films including the Academy Award® nominated film, “August Rush”, directed by Kirsten Sheridan and starring Keri Russell, Robin Williams and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Recently Lisa Co-Produced a series of short films with Jameson Whiskey and Trigger Street Productions, starring Willem Dafoe. The next in this series is set to shoot shortly starring Uma Thurman. She is currently producing content for Nickelodeon’s Creative Lab.
Jason Dolan (Producer)
Jason Dolan is a writer / director / producer best known for his sci- fi cult film “Enter Nowhere” starring Scott Eastwood, Sara Paxton and Katherine Waterston which he wrote and executive produced with Academy Award Winner Shawn Christensen (“Curfew”). His other feature credits include “Refuge”, “Dark Was the Night” and “Before I Disappear”. Jason worked for Academy Award nominated producer Martin Poll (“The Lion in Winter”) as his VP of Creative Development from 2000-2005 before he and Christensen sold their first screenplay collaboration, “Sidney Hall” to Fox Searchlight and Scott Free Productions. Additionally, Jason works as a campaign manager with Indiegogo. He is repped by UTA, Aperture Entertainment and attorney Alan Hergott.
Andrew Napier (Executive Producer)
Andrew Napier was a producer and assistant director of the 2013 Academy Award®-winning short film ‘Curfew’, and then edited its feature adaptation “Before I Disappear” (SXSW 2014). Andrew directed the narrative short “Grandma’s Not a Toaster” (Tribeca 2013), and the documentary features “Mary and Bill”, and the upcoming “Mad As Hell”, which follows Cenk Uygur, who’s online news show “The Young Turks” has amassed over one billion views on YouTube. He also co-produced the romantic comedy “Lust For Love” (2014) starring Fran Kranz. Andrew is producing and editing “Song Dynasties”, a documentary about the band “Of Montreal”, and he is executive producing the upcoming documentaries “Bounce: How the Ball Taught the World to Play” and “The Culture High”, about the war on drugs.
Pawel Pogorzelski (Cinematographer)
Pawel Pogorzelski is an award-winning cinematographer whose narrative work has been screened at the New York Film Festival, AFI fest, and Slamdance among others. His commercial clients include Capital One, MTV, PETA and Vonage. In the music industry, Pawel has done videos for numerous bands and artists such as the indie band Broken Social Scene or for the hip-hop star Karl Wolf. Pawel’s work ranges from light comedies with established directors, such as Clay Weiner, to dark twisted melodramas like the controversial Internet sensation The Strange Thing About the Johnsons. His primary intention is to serve the story and his visual instincts are directed toward enhancing characters and plot. This is demonstrated in his versatile body of work, which includes features like the sci-fi thriller, SIGMA (2006), the character-driven drama, La Ferme des Humains (2010), or a lighthearted musical, Waiting in the Wings (post-production). Pawel obtained a Master’s degree from AFI’s Cinematography program with 5 academic awards in 2010. He then went on to work under one of his mentors, Rodrigo Prieto, AMC, ASC, while filming Water for Elephants. (2011). Besides his artistic eye and mastered cinematographic craft, Pawel is also praised for his work ethic as well as his professional, yet positive and warm attitude.
Lindsey Moran (Production Designer)
Graduating from California Institute of the Arts in May of 2003 with a major in theatrical set design and technical direction, minoring in graphic design, Lindsey began her career in live television working on high profile events including the Academy Awards. After joining the Art Director’s Guild in 2007, her focus shifted to film, designing features such as Bad Milo, Fatal Instinct, Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife and the upcoming feature The Frontier, as well as short films including all six of Trigger Street’s First Shot films with Kevin Spacey and Willem Dafoe. With ten-plus years of experience, Lindsey has worked on many different types of productions including big budget feature length films such as The Hunger Games, to indies like All’s Faire in Love and How to Make Love Like an Englishman. Commercials and music videos include Comcast’s X-Finity campaign directed by David LaChepelle, David Blaine’s Target campaign Revolution, Eastbay Shoes’ Hoops Heaven, Sky Ferriera’s music video for Sad Dream, and Soft Moon’s Want. While maintaining a wide variety of productions Lindsey’s passion rests in focusing on scripted work and the development of character-driven design.
Mandy Brown (Editor)
Mandy Brown is a Los Angeles based editor who has worked on numerous short films, music videos, documentaries and commercials. Her work has been to festivals such as Cannes, LA Film Festival & LA Intl Underground Film Festival, has been honored with nominations at the MTV VMA Awards and MVPA Awards and appeared in a wide variety of publications including Spin, Huffington Post and Pitchfork, among others.
Kc Daugirdas (Composer)
Kc Daugirdas is a composer for film, television, and choir. His recent work includes JewDate: The Webseries (8 episodes), the “Freedom Kantata” for festival chorus at the 10th Lithuanian Song Festival, as well as music for Kickstarter videos produced by his company, Elevant Productions (www.elevantproductions.com), which he runs with his brother. He studied Choral Music Education at the University of Illinois and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, and enjoys playing keyboards, singing, hiking, technology, and generally spends too much time musing about mind-blowing ideas. Amanda Cryer (Co-Producer)
Amanda Cryer is a producer, born in Toronto, Ontario, and raised in North Vancouver, B.C. She studied acting at The Arts Umbrella & Carousel Theatres in Vancouver, BC. Following her theater training, she became interested in producing and as a result, shifted focus to finding exciting material and collaborating on interesting projects with others. She produced the Canadian Documentary series “We Rock” and the short film “What They Wanted, What They Got”. She also works with Emmy Award-winning Visual Effects Artist Rik Shorten at Simplicity Media, and is currently employed at Vertigo Entertainment.
